Instagram helps Vatican hint bikini mannequin ‘like’ that appeared to come back from pope

The Vatican and Fb‘s Instagram are cooperating to hint the origins of a “like” on a bikini mannequin’s submit that appeared to come back from Pope Francis‘ official account.

Social media customers final week identified that the pope’s account, “franciscus,” appeared to have given the signal of approval to a photograph of Brazilian bikini mannequin Natalia Garibotto sporting a racy outfit. The Vatican mentioned Frances himself wasn’t accountable.

“The difficulty is at present being investigated in shut contact with The Holy See,” a Fb spokesperson instructed Fox Information.

A Vatican official confirmed Friday that the “like” didn’t come from the Holy See and that the Vatican is working with Instagram to find out what occurred.

The pope has 7.four million followers on Instagram.
